Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University established by Government of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999.

The University is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act.

The University has been awarded the ISO 9001:2000 Certification by Standardization, Testing and Quality Certification Directorate, Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India, for a period of three years. It has been accredited "A Grade" by NAAC during Feb - March 2007.

It is an affiliating and teaching University that aims to facilitate and promote studies, research and extension work in emerging areas of higher education with focus on professional education in the disciplines of engineering, technology, architecture, management, medicine, pharmacy, physiotherapy, nursing, education, law, journalism and mass communication, etc. and also to achieve excellence in these and related fields and other matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

GGSIPU Exam Admit Card / Hall Ticket Download

The Students going to appear for the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University examination can get the admit card/Hall Ticket. The authorities are planning to release the admit card on the official website. The contenders can get the admit card from the official website by giving the details like application number and date of birth. The admit card contains all the details like admit card number, exam date, exam time and more details of the Students. The contender needs to carry the admit card while going for the exam. Instructions for Downloading the  Hall Ticket 2019:

• In order to download the Hall Ticket, the Students shall have to log on to the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
• Here the Students will have to check the Examination Result /Scheme section.
• Once the above mentioned section has been opened, the Students will get the link for downloading the Hall Ticket.
• After clicking on the above mentioned link, the Students will have to enter their Name, Father’s Name, and Program name and then click on submit.
• After submitting, the Students will be able to download the Hall Ticket.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Admission 2019

IP University offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Ph.D. and Diploma programs in various disciplines in University Schools, Government Colleges and Self-Financing colleges affiliated to it.  The university invites application form in the month of January for Undergraduate & Postgraduate courses and in March for Integrated & Research courses. Students seeking admission to all the courses can apply online by visiting the official website of IP University (IPU).

• B. Tech, B.Pharm and BHMCT admissions are based on the score in IPUCET (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test)  organized by IP University followed by online counseling.
• CET for each and every course is an offline (OMR-Based) test. Students must note that there is the provision of negative marking for any wrong attempt. 
• NATA qualified Students are eligible to apply for B.Arch. Final admission is based on 50% weight each in NATA and marks in the qualifying examination.
• MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS admissions are done through NEET Undergraduate organized at All India Level followed by counseling.
• A valid score in IPUCET is mandatory to secure admission in B.Sc (Nursing) & B.Sc (MLT), BA, B.Com, BA-LL.B, BBA-LL.B, BCA, B.Voc, B.Ed & BJMC courses.
• M.Tech admission is done through GATE (IPUCET, in case of vacant seats).
• A valid score in IPUCET is the only criteria to secure admission in MBA and MCA courses.
• Admission to MD and MS is based on the score in NEET Postgraduate while DM/ M.Ch admission is offered through NEET SS followed by counseling.
• M.Sc, M.Sc (Nursing), MPT, M.Ed, MOT, MA and MPH admissions are based on IPUCET and counseling.
• PGAC (Ayurveda) course requires a valid score in AIA- PGET organized by AYUSH.
• For Ph.D. programs, the Students are shortlisted on the basis of CSIR NET/ UGC NET or JRF. Final selection is performed through an interview round followed by counseling.
• Seats are reserved for special category Students such as Kashmiri Migrants, Person with Disability and Management Quota Students. The university provides GATE scholarship only in case of regular mode.

Online Exam Form of GGSIPU

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has closed the IPU 2019 Application Form for all the courses. Students interested in pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes from the GGSIPU must have filled the IP University Application Form 2019. Students yet to register for the B.A Economics (Hons.) course can register through the official window for filling IPUCET 2019 Application Form.  Students are advised to read the eligibility criteria and the complete brochure of IP University admissions 2019 before filling the IPU application form. Student needs to check all the details and fill all the mandatory fields of GGSIPU 2019 application form as the IPU CET applications found incomplete will be summarily rejected. Students will also need to upload scanned images of photograph and signature during the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University application process 2019. Students will also need to remit an application fee before submitting the IP University application form. Students can check the IPU 2019 application procedure including online registration, form filling, payment of fees and submission of IP University application form 2019.
