NEET UG 2019 Exam Schedule

The officially of NTA has released the notification for NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) UG (Under Graduate) application form and exam dates. This exam is will be conducted in CBT (Computer Based Test). The exam will be organized on 5 May 2019. The registration started for NEET UG courses from 1 November 2018 and the last date to fill completely application form is November 30. The admit card for this exam will be declared on 15th April 2019 and the results will be announced on 5 June 2019. The change in the NEET exam syllabus (as against the statement made on 7th July 2018), which will now be a single exam in pen-and-paper method and in the same number of languages as has been conducted last year, is on the request of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, who seeking the same pattern followed last year to be maintained. It is the only national level all type of medical entrance examination organized by NTA (National Testing Agency) for providing MBBS, BDS and Ayush courses offered by all India Medical College. About National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET)

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). NEET-UG is a qualifying entrance exam for students to study any undergraduate medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) or postgraduate course (MD / MS) in government or private medical colleges all across India. It held for the first time on 5 May 2013. The eligibility criteria states the candidate should have passed or should be expecting to pass any one of the qualifying examinations equivalent to the 12th standard exam with 50% (General), 40% (SC/ST), 45% (Differently able) aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology. NEET- UG exam is a 3 hour paper wherein the candidates have to answer a single paper consisting of 180 objective type questions from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Every question has an equal importance of 4 marks for a right answer and a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. Candidates can only apply in online mode by logging on to official website of National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG).
